NOTE: This guide is meant for women who struggle with acne breakouts more than once a month. If you don't struggle with acne but you want to learn about menstrual health Menstrual Cycle 101 would better for you. The menstrual health information in both guides are the SAME. If you have already purchased Menstrual Cycle 101, do NOT buy this guide!
What is included?
This is a 82 page guide that includes information on how to clear your skin holistically and without compromising your menstrual cycle.
To help you apply the information given, I included a few practical assignments throughout the guide.
There are four parts in this guide:
Part 1 - The First Steps: Which goes over the main pillars of good health, clear skin, and hormonal balance, that you cannot supplement your way to. (I do share basic skincare routine/tips but as a supplement to clearing your skin, not as the main solution!)
Part 2 - Your Infradian Rhythm: You'll learn the important basics of your menstrual cycle (it's so much more than just your period!) to be able to understand your body and cycle better.
Disclaimer: The information in this section is not intended to be used to plan or prevent pregnancies. Nor is it about the Fertility Awareness Method or how to track ovulation as a form of birth control. If you have PCOS, endometriosis, PMDD, etc. this information is NOT intended to directly treat that, this is purely for educational purposes.
Part 3 - Cycle Syncing: You’ll learn how to change certain things in your life to align better with your cycle, like workouts, skincare, sleep, slight diet changes, etc.
Part 4 - Action Steps: A list of practical action steps to take to achieve your health goals that I recommend throughout the guide, so you get more out of this guide than just information!
Why is this guide unique?
When you look up how to clear your acne, the answer most people will give you is to avoid dairy, sugar, and gluten. But that is a temporary bandage solution, it doesn't solve the root cause of your acne. And if you start removing even more food groups from your diet, over time it'll lead to a worse menstrual cycle or no cycle.
Here are examples of some "recommendations" to clear your skin that WILL make your cycle worse:
Drink ice cold smoothies or eat lots of raw salads --> too many cold and raw foods lead to poor digestion and blood circulation which leads to poor health.
Cut out more food groups: animal protein (meat, poultry, or dairy), fruit, grains, fats, etc. --> we need all of them, especially animal protein for good skin and overall good health.
Diets like plant-based, keto, paleo, etc. work short term NOT long term. After being strict for about 2 years or so, you’ll notice your health start to decline. (Diets affect women in their reproductive years differently than everyone else!)
Eat "acne-friendly" foods and you'll be fine! --> this is an easy way to neglect blood sugar balance during meals and throughout the day. Keeping your blood sugar balanced is the foundation of good skin and menstrual health!
Having a healthy regular menstrual cycle is a sign of good health! You can't achieve clear skin holistically while neglecting your menstrual health.
I learned this the hard way, which is why I created this guide for you from the lens of your menstrual cycle, so you don't make it worse or have it disappear while trying to heal your skin!
This guide is what I wish I had when I first started my clear skin journey 10 years ago. My personal journey led me on a long roller coaster to finally clear my skin and I don't want you to have to experience the same thing!
This guide is also written from a holistic approach because everything is always so interconnected. Some topics I cover are: a balanced plate, dairy, emotions, skincare, understanding your cycle, exercise, what to cycle sync, PMS breakouts, sleep, and more!
This guide is for you if you:
are tired of not knowing what you are doing wrong to heal your acne
want to be able to EAT NORMALLY again (Dairy, sugar, and gluten?! As long as you aren't allergic, of course!)
are ready to have a good relationship with yourself
want to understand your menstrual cycle better
are ready to do what it takes to clear your skin, even if it takes time!
